Venetian glass blowers named this vase after the Renaissance painter, Paolo Veronese. But the same shape of glass vase was depicted in other Renaissance and Baroque artists' work. Juan van der Hamen, a 17th century Spanish painter also painted this vase, as shown in his work on display at the Nacional Museo del Prado in Madrid.
The Barovier e Toso series of classical revival pieces are exceptionally beautiful with extremely elegant shapes. The filigrana work is simply exquisite.
